GULDKNAP

GULDKNAP is ALT for damerne’s annual flagship event for women, held at Operaen, where the prestigious Guldknap Award is presented to a Danish designer. Each year, we deliver a spectacular afternoon show, welcoming women from across the country who attend with their daughters and friends to enjoy a fully packed day together with ALT for damerne and our sponsors.

The programme is filled with experiences. It kicks off with a live performance by one of the country’s leading musicians, after which the hours fly by with a wealth of on-stage talks featuring women who have appeared in ALT for damerne over the past year and who have something important to say. Plenty of breaks are built into the programme, giving the audience the opportunity to visit the event’s sponsors. Here, the atmosphere is both lively and cosy, with small groups moving between the stands—often accompanied by a small glass or a snack from the bar.

The entire event culminates in an exceptionally high-spirited and joyful fashion show, where the models are a combination of women that we all know from ALT for damerne magazine and professional models. Together they show the collections from the nominees to the Guldknap to upbeat rhythms of the DJ.

Alt for damernes GULDKNAP 2026 will take place at the Opera House on Saturday, October 3rd.
